Rissois de Carne








2 Pounds of Ground Beef
GOYA Discos (White), thawed
1 Whole White Onion Cut Fine
3 Garlic Cloves Cut Fine
1/2 Portuguese Sausage Cut Fine (Purchased at Portuguese super markets)
2 Table spoons of Smoked Paprika
1 Cup of White Wine
1 and 1/2 cubes of Knorr (Alho, Louro and Pimentao)
1/4 Cup of Parmasen Cheese
1/2 Cup of Tomato Paste
Salt and Pepper (Add to Taste)
Bread Crumbs
Olive Oil
Vegetable Oil


— Stuffing

1. Saute onions and garlic in olive oil

2. Add ground beef, portuguese sausage (see image below), tomato paste and season with salt and pepper







3. Let ground beef brown before adding the remaining  ingredients

4. Add the remaining ingredients; smoked paprika, knorr, white wine, parmasen cheese

5. Let ground beef simmer for 20 minutes (mix regularly, see image below)







— Frying Time

1. Spoon about 2 to 3 tbsp. meat mixture into middle, fold in half to form a half moon (see image below)







2. Prepare two bowls; one with eggs beaten and the other with bread crumbs (see image below)







3. Heat vegetable oil

4. First dipp the discos (stuffed) though egg and then roll through the bread crumbs

5. Add discos to fryer and fry until golden brown (see image below).







6. Set aside on paper towel to cool and enjoy.
